David Roche and Riley Brady shine at Javelina, Belgium wins at Big's Backyard, Hans Troyer is so fast, Sunseri faces charges for switchback cutting, Puppi breaks down ITRA & UTMB rankings, and more
Pulling straight from the DR playbook… Precision Fuel 30g gels and Science In Sport Beta Fuel 40g gels. Diet-wise, lots of smoothies and juice. I underfueled for so many years. Feel great now that I’m paying attention to it!
That’s awesome! I’m on the maple syrup and sea salt plan for most of my runs, and use precision hydration 1500 tabs and gels for longer runs and racing. Nesquik or smoothie after runs, depending whether my toddlers are napping at the moment or not :)
The Forest Service article is disturbing. Time for volunteer trail workers to step up, I guess, but what I’d really like to see is a modern version of the old CCC (Civilian Conservation Corps) from the 1930s (I still use trails they built every time I run in our PA state forests).
I think the CCC also built some of the Blue Ridge Parkway if I remember correctly. I’m not too familiar with the organization, though. Time to go do some googling :)
This is a big David Roche house. High-carb is transforming my running.
Right on! Do you have any go-to carbs?

thanks, great edition with lots of great links! now I just have to find the time to read all that :)
Haha tell me about it! And this is just a fraction of what I'm consuming in a week to put this together :)
Yeah, I know. Usually I also read a bit more than just five things per week. :)
Hehe content overload. If only you could read while running …
That‘s why god invented podcasts!
