To clarify the Behind the Rocks 50K results—it wasn't a true tie for third, with Bryan and Adam crossing the line together. I chatted with Bryan afterward. He was having a fantastic race but then went off course—but the segment he accidentally ran was arguably harder—so he blew his second-place position, and then there was confusion about where he ranked. I'm not certain where he was in relation to Adam, but the RD made a call to call it a tie (I'm not sure why and don't know the details).
My understanding is he crossed the finish in second after learning of the mistake at the last aid, but since he didn’t pass Anthony on the correct course and his route wasn’t substantially different (harder but maybe a tad shorter) they gave T-3 instead of DQ. He was ahead of Adam when he made the error, but I guess since Adam ran the course correctly they didn’t want to bump him from a podium position too.
States is going to be insane this year. Hard to see Jim losing, but it's Kilian, innit? Oh, and Rod, and Tyler, and Hayden, and Daniel, and Caleb, and Vincent, and...

Tough call for the RD. I’m glad he got a finish instead of DQ though.
Agreed! It was a hell of a run for Bryan!
...and favourite bit of Ultra Minute for me is the vid recommendations (but it's all great!)
